3 C flour
1 1/2 C white sugar
1 tbs baking soda
1/2 C butter
1 tsp salt
1 tsp cinnamon
1 tsp nutmeg

5 very ripe bananas, mashed
1/3 C buttermilk
1 egg
1/4 C chopped walnuts or pecans 

Mix together top seven ingredients. Add mashed bananas and mix well for five minutes. Pour into two 8" loaf pans or one 10" bundt cake pan well greased. Top with nuts. Bake at 350° for 40 minutes.

 8 oz elbow macaroni, cooked & drained 
1 Tbsp. finely chopped onion 
1 Tbsp. finely chopped green pepper 
1 Tbsp. finely chopped celery 
6 oz cheddar cheese, grated 
Salt & Pepper to taste 
1 Tbsp. evaporated milk 
 
 Add the onion, green pepper and celery to the cooked macaroni; stir.  Add 1/2 of the cheese & stir over low heat until melted.  Season & stir in evaporated milk.  Spoon into well-greased 8x8x2" baking pan & sprinkle remaining cheese evenely over top.  Bake in a preheated oven at 350° for 20 minutes.  Let stand for 10 minutes and cut into squares to serve.  4-6 servings.

The roof is a painted white and domed with intricate green tiles along the border giving the house even more Moroccan detail. The grounds are 30 acres of silver palm trees and orange groves. Silver palms are a native palm of Eleuthera, they are very small in size with a silvery color under each palm frond. When the wind blows in the forest of silver palms they sparkle in the island sun. It is definitely a beautiful sight to see.
	The beach of La Bougainvillea is special with soft pink sand and clear water. A favorite past time of visitors is to walk the beach for miles and enjoy the beauty and serenity. The majority of the time visitors walk down the beach surrounding La Bougainvillea no one else is around and no one is even seen for the entire walk. It truly is magical having this little paradise to yourself , friends and family.
	The ocean is spectacular with fish swimming past your feet and coral reef steps from when you enter the clear waters. Snorkeling and diving are a must when you visit La Bougainvillea and Eleuthera. Fish are abundant and vibrantly colored for your shear enjoyment. La Bougainvillea has other enjoyable activities and if you would prefer to stay on land there are always birds to watch and lizards to catch. There are a couple of blue herring birds to view outside your windows in the afternoon.
