La Bougainvillea

We visited here for a night while touring the Eleuthera Island. The grounds are absolutely beautiful. They have a pool and restaurant, flies are terrible. I was told that a doctor from Greece originally owned it and it has that look. The villa we rented had its own private pool and plenty of room to spread out. The beach is amazing.

Great view and very good food and drinks at the restaurant. The staff are friendly and helpful. We also used their pool ad played volleyball. Lovely place to have coffee in the morning.

If I could give more than five stars, I would.<br>We spent eight unforgettable days in the cottage at La Bougainvillea, and by the time we left, it truly felt like home.<br>Nestled along one of the most breathtaking pink sand beaches we’ve ever seen, this little slice of paradise exceeded every expectation.<br>This trip will always hold a special place in our hearts because it was here, on this beautiful beach, that my fiancé proposed to me. It turned an already incredible vacation into a memory we’ll treasure for the rest of our lives.<br>Every day brought a new adventure. We kayaked, paddleboarded, and snorkeled right from the beach, where the water was unbelievably clear and full of life. We were surrounded by colorful tropical fish, and seeing so many juvenile lemon sharks gracefully cruising through the shallow water was one of the most unforgettable experiences we’ve ever had.<br>The beach itself felt incredibly peaceful and private, making it easy to disconnect and simply enjoy the beauty of Eleuthera.<br>The restaurant was another highlight of our stay. We found ourselves coming back again and again for the burger and the tuna poke bowl—both were absolutely outstanding and among our favorite meals of the trip.<br>We also treated ourselves to deep tissue massages right by the water, and they were honestly some of the best massages either of us has ever had. Listening to the waves while completely relaxing made the experience unforgettable.<br>Finally, a heartfelt thank you to Sonam, the General Manager. Exceptional hospitality starts with great leadership, and it shows. Sonam went above and beyond to make every guest feel genuinely welcome, and his kindness, professionalism, and attention to detail made our stay even more special.<br>La Bougainvillea is far more than just a place to stay. It’s a place where lifelong memories are made, where nature is at its most beautiful, and where you leave already dreaming about the day you’ll return.<br>We cannot recommend it highly enough.

What a special place! Right on the Atlantic with easy access to a beautiful and mostly empty beach. I enjoyed swimming in the surf, which was a bit wild but totally manageable. They have a lovely pool and a great restaurant. The staff were so friendly and helpful. I stayed in the cottage which is in the back garden and found it quite peaceful. It has a little kitchen so it was perfect for making my own breakfast and lunch and then going to the restaurant for dinner. The road is quite bumpy but my rental handled it well. Highly recommend!

Simply amazing. Very low-key though. Miles of pristine beach with few to no people on it. If you want more activity, stay in Nassau.

This is The Place to go for lounge chair service by a pool. Very pretty setting. Kind and welcoming wait staff. Very good bar drinks. Decent food.<br>No charge for loungers. Just eat and drink a bit while you enjoy the sun. Best option around Governor's Harbour.

My daughter recently celebrated her 15th birthday here and the costumer service and food was 10/10 in my opinion. Although that wasn't my first time dining at this establishment it was still a pleasure because I knew the service would be on point.
